Saifedean Ammous has started a NEW online economics course on 25 September, Principles of Economics. Whether you're a student, a professional, or a retiree, you are making economic decisions every day, and this course will arm you with the wisdom of centuries of economists to improve your economic decision-making. The course will follow alongside Saifedean's latest book, and you will receive a free ebook as part of the course.
This course will be based on Principles of Economics, Dr. Saifedean Ammous' economics textbook. The ebook will be available in the course page for all students to download. The hardcover book is available for order worldwide from Saifedean.com, as well as from Amazon and many other booksellers. Enrollment in the course is open to members of Saifedean.com, and you can sign up on saifedean.com/membership.
Lectures will be released once every two weeks, on Mondays, starting on September 25, 2023, and will be available in video and audio format, along with course notes, on the course webpage saifedean.com/poecourse
Discussion seminars will be held once a week on Thursdays, at alternating time slots twelve hours apart to ensure learners can attend from all over the world. The first seminar was held on Thursday September 28, at 5pm GMT (1pm US Eastern Time, or 1am Shanghai time). The second seminar was held on Thursday October 5 at 5am GMT (1am US Eastern Time, or 1pm Shanghai time.) Seminars will then alternate between being held at 1pm and 1am US EST. Please be cognizant of daylight savings changing your seminar time. Exact timings for all course seminars are available on saifedean.com/poecourse, and you can also download them as events to your calendar.
Discussion seminar participation is available for members+. Regular members will be able to access recordings of the seminars.

The course will take place over 18 lectures, each based on one chapter from Principles of Economics, which is available for download in the course webpage. The primary course reading material is the lecture's corresponding chapter, but the course will also rely heavily on further resources listed below.
